The relationship with the producers
Domori directly selects and collaborate with the producers of its raw materials, establishing long-term relationships of mutual growth. The grower must be treated well and satisfied with the selling price of his cocoa.
Since it is low-yield cultivation, Domori aims to train cocoa producers by passing on to them the knowledge to increase productivity and maintain high-quality standards. Ongoing training focuses on the botanical aspect of cocoa, the post-harvest segment and the fermentation process.
Domori believes that the only way to make high-quality production genuinely sustainable is to pay farmers correctly.
Therefore, Domori adds a fair margin to the price of the international market, thus covering production costs and compensating farmers for their constant commitment and dedication in obtaining superior quality cacao.
