Super delicious! The sauce is absolutely amazing and it will make you feel like you are in a fancy restaurant.Â
Serves: 2 people
Ingredients:
- 340 g salmon filletsÂ
- 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
Marinade ingredients:
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 tsp ginger, minced
- ½ tsp red pepper
- 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- â…“ cup (75 ml) less-sodium soy sauceÂ
- â…“ cup (115 g)Â honey
Method:
- Prepare a medium bowl or sealable bag for salmon.Â
- In a small bowl mix marinade ingredients.
- Pour half of the marinade on the salmon. Save the other half for later.
- Marinate salmon in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes. Longer the better.Â
- In a medium pan, heat oil.
- Add salmon to the pan, and discard the used marinade.
- Cook salmon on one side for about 2-3 min, then flip over and cook for an additional 1-2 min.
- Remove salmon from the pan.
- Pour in remaining marinade and reduce.
- Serve the salmon with sauce and a side of veggies. We love broccoli or dauphinoise potatoes.Â
