Tenute Librandi hills are rich in olive and citrus groves, all grown organically, just a few kilometres from the Ionian Sea.
The story of Tenute Librandi began at the end of the 19th century when their great-great-grandfather Michele had a lot fewer olive trees and the same land in Calabria as today. Today, the olive farm is run by siblings - Pino, Carmela, Lucia, Angela and Michele that carry on a century-old tradition, after their father Pascale passed away. Pascale was a visionary entrepreneur who wanted to invest in something which he believed in and loved with all his heart - his land. Pasquale was rightly proud that his five children carry on a century-old tradition with passion and competence - the family farm Librandi was awarded Flos Olei Farm of the Year in 2021.
Food pairing: For a mouth-watering food experience, drizzle it over bruschettas, grilled fish, octopus, beef carpaccio, pan-seared red and game meats, hearty soups and pasta or with mature cheeses.
