The certified BIO cocoa from the Ivory Coast plantations includes hand mowing, natural fertilization with organic residues and pest control with natural oils (mainly Neem). The cocoa selected by Domori in the Ivory Coast comes from an area between the villages of Toumodi, Oulaidon, Taabo and Lilebe near the coast. The cocoa is certified organic by the Scay Cooperative, chaired by Estelle Konan. The cooperative verifies compliance with these conditions by all the farmers who supply the cocoa and supports them through specific training courses.
